Your Challenge We challenge you to join Philips Lifeline as a Systems Administrator where you will be responsible for providing technology and telephone service and support to internal employee base and external customers, nationally, for all lines of subscriber based products and businesses. Key Areas of Responsibilities: Systems Administrator: · Lead administrator for Windows Server infrastructure. Responsibilities include: · Select, configure and deploy servers, both hardware and virtual (VMware) · Design, implement and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other server roles · Manage and configure group policies, file shares and DFS service Administrator for VMware vSphere and SAN infrastructure · Manage resource groups · Provision storage and virtual machine resources · Convert physical to virtual servers as individual projects Administrator for the Avaya PBX telephone system and CTI. Responsibilities include: · Add\change vector programming to route customer and emergency after hour calls. · Add\change VDNs for marketing campaigns · Add\change split/skills to manage the various internal and external calls. · Administer and monitor backups for the PBX systems · Add\change voicemail system, CMS, and CTI AES server for mission critical systems · Manage the call and video logging systems used for coaching and legal purposes in both offices. Administrator for SQL Databases and Servers Administrator · Main lead in MS SQL Servers and Databases administration. This includes ensuring nightly SQL jobs are completed to allow accurate reporting and setting security permissions for database access. · Performance monitoring and fine tuning as needed. · Main lead in SQL Reporting Services administration, our primary business intelligence tool. · Researching and evaluating new equipment and processes to improve user productivity and systems availability. Systems Maintenance: · Perform disaster recovery simulations and testing on the various Lifeline emergency monitoring equipment. This includes Avaya AES, CareMaster, and CTI. Lead staff and IT related training · Manage and plan monthly server patching · Plan and monitor server system tape and disk backups · Manage the anti-virus system to protect our critical servers and workstations from malware. Projects Management: · Lead and execute project research, design, testing, implementation, and documentation. Help Desk & After-hours Support: · Train junior and new members of the team on supporting mission critical systems · Available 24/7 on call for mission critical systems for Lifeline · Available 24/7 on call to support healthcare customers with their local Emergency Response Centers ( RC700) · Mentor and support junior team members on helpdesk and IT services.
