The Manager, Customer Logistics is responsible for all order processes, tactics and strategies supporting the Pharm and Diabetes Solutions business, with goals of providing best in class customer service, protecting the business from financial risk and evaluating opportunities for efficiencies cross sector. Key responsibilities include people leadership & talent development, and managing relationships with key stakeholders including Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain & Operations, and customers, as well as various members of the Customer & Logistics Services organization. Major Responsibilities: Organization & Talent Development • Develop the team to ensure engaged and experienced leaders delivering on continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness in a multi-matrix collaborative structure. Order to cash responsibilities • Develops and enables a multi-matrix collaborative relationship with: Customer's Supply Chain, J&J Supply Chain & Operations, Customer & Logistics Services, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs and Medical Information. • Manages all of the standard operating procedures and processes around the customer response centre, order fulfillment, maintenance of master data (including pricing and customer), credit management, accounts receivable/collections, and business systems. • Protect Pharm/JJDS from financial and quality compliance risk by executing all controls per the SOX and Quality Compliance procedures • Establish and maintain internal control compliance as required under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. • Represents J&J Customer Logistics as the key contact in all supply chain issues within the Pharmaceutical and Diabetes Solutions business. Manages all customer key performance and/or service metrics including: customer inventory levels, Retail in Stocks, fill rate, accounts receivable, promotion and new item execution. • Develop strong customer relationships enabling cross company collaboration for joint value creation. • Identify and provide leadership in trade situations where J&J's best interests are protected by establishing and maintaining consistent /common practices (eg. Terms, compliance, network etc) • Leverages cross channel learning to develop the class of trade into more collaborative and strategic processes; • Seeks and leverages synergies and global opportunities within CLS and with US counterparts. Supply Chain Strategies • Develops and implements departmental specific goals and objectives in line with Customer & Logistics Services and Company strategic plans. Budget / Cost / CIPs • Identify and lead opportunities to control operating costs and drive cost efficiencies throughout the supply chain. Performance Management • Ownership of all area Key Performance Indicators; drive accountability within the team and develop action plans to address performance gaps Process Improvement • Lead innovative projects which drive process efficiency in the area with goals towards improving quality of outputs, reducing cycle time and reducing operating costs • Benchmark processes and results. • Implement improvements/adjustments. • Establish business continuity / disaster recovery plans for the area, with particular focus on the customer response centre, order fulfillment and master data. Technical Competency requirements: • Minimum 8-10 years supply chain experience preferably in a management role • Strong business acumen and analytical skills • PE / Six Sigma – Green Belt / Lean Manufacturing an asset • Strong technical background, experience using SAP, Data Warehouse, and Siebel (CRM) an asset • University degree (MBA an asset) • Bilingualism (French & English) an asset BE VITAL in your career; Be seen for the talent you bring to your work.
