Based in Toronto, Ontario, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping, receiving, logistics and inventory control for projects within the scope of PI Team in Ontario. You will also provide support and coordination as requested to the project commissioning, warranty and maintenance. You will be responsible for the compliance to all project requirements and promote safety and good work ethics.
In your role you will:
: Coordinate the distribution and inventory management of materials to allow efficient Test and Commissioning, Product Support and Modification activities;
: Resolve supplier issues quickly and efficiently to ensure workflow and consignment levels are maintained;
: Coordinate cost reduction processes related to component NDF's (No Defect Found), Non Warranty repairs and RTP (Request to Purchase) costs;
: Develop processes with manufacturing site to ensure accurate content for mod kits received;
: Manage the handling on Contractual Spares including Capital, Consignment and Consumable, including the Management of kit creation based on modification needs and delivery schedules;
: Support the RMA process, component configuration, optimization of the materials storage space and FIFO;
: Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as well as Bombardier Policy and Operating Procedures. Ensure safe and proper use of tools and material stacking. Comply with all rules and regulations regarding use and storage of hazardous material;
: Prepare and supervise periodic and annual physical inventory counts as well as systemic cycle counts as required.
As our ideal candidate:
: You hold a Technical Degree and/or Materials Management Training;
: You possess a minimum of one (1) of experience in related work functions;
: You have good knowledge Maximo, SAP, MS Office Business Applications, and Adobe Writer;
: Your English communication skills are excellent. Your French knowledge will be considered as an asset.
