Job Description:

• Tend to emotional well-being of the child
• Take the child to and from school and to appointments
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Prepare the child for rest periods
• Supervise and care for the child
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Organize activities such as games and outings for the child
• Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child
• Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents
• Bathe, dress and feed the child
• Help the child with homework
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Shop for food and household supplies

Child's age: 9 year-old girl

Work Setting: Private Home

- Education: Completion of high school
- Credentials: First Aid Certificate is an asset
- Experience: Experience is an asset

Salary: $11.55 - $12.55 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Benefits: Extended medical insurance and dental benefits are provided. Loaning of car if required.

Important information: The employee will be working in 2 different shifts: the first shift is from 7 AM to 11 AM and the second shift is from 1 PM to 5 PM. Work schedule is from Monday to Friday. Weekends are off.
