Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, The Shopping Channel (TSC) this position is accountable for supporting the brand strategy, brand management and brand execution for TSC.
What you will be doing:
:Act as the voice of the brand across social media communities, which will include but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
:Develop and manage an engaging and brand:aligned annual content calendar
:Have a critical sense of urgency and post regularly to maintain current and fast moving accounts
:Create, execute, and manage engaging social media content/contests and measure results
:Monitor fans and follower communication, and respond in a helpful, brand:positive manner
:Conduct periodic competitive social media audits
:Develop in:the:moment content to compliment pre:planned content
:Consistently monitor all social media channels to communicate, interact and engage with users, encourage loyalty, and foster conversation with potential clients
:Manage social media campaigns and day:to:day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, promotions, creating and posting content, staying abreast of trending topics and industry news, etc.
:Work with marketing team, vendors, product development (merchandise), and creative departments to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive branding execution on all content and campaigns
:Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications, testing new ideas and platforms and measure results
:Delivering presentations and training when required.
:Regularly analyze and report of performance of campaign to ensure the brand is reaching its KPIs and goals
What you bring:
:Bachelor Degree in digital marketing, communications, social media or related field
:3:5 years of experience in related fields
:Well:developed creative skills, in particular digital, leading the creative process from brief to launch and communication
:Strong working knowledge of all major social media platforms (e.g. Hootsuite,Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Snap Chat)
:Familiarity with Excel, Adobe Creative Suite; website content management systems and analytics programs
:Proven communication skills and passion for learning about the online/digital marketing industry
:Proven leadership ability, teamwork and collaboration; experience working with a diverse set of people
:Strong organizational, problem solving and project management skills
:Exceptional written communication skills, and an understanding of how to write for the social
:Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
