As a cyber security operations senior manager, the successful candidate is responsible for managing a team of security analysts at Deloittes Cyber Intelligence Centre. Overall accountability for managing a team of security analysts, incident response, threat intelligence and analytics incident management, client escalations, client delivery, maintaining SLAs and SLOs and regular cyber reporting to clients.
Key priorities of the role include:
:Providing oversight and leadership for day to day CIC operations to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of clients environments.
:Developing and managing information security programs for the assigned client which consists of direct reports working on:site at the client location.
:This includes hiring, training, staff development, performance management and conducting annual performance reviews.
:Developing, maintaining and publishing up:to:date information security policies, standards and guidelines.
:Providing regular reporting on the current status of the information security program to enterprise risk teams and senior business leaders.
:Providing strategic risk guidance for IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.
:Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as (International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 2700x and the ITIL, COBIT, SOC 2 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks.
:Manage security related incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, regulated data and the companys reputation.
:Facilitating a comprehensive metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitating appropriate resource allocation and increasing the maturity of the security program.
:Maintaining the security infrastructure, providing stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures available.
:Providing reporting and metrics to executive management and clients.
:Resolve incidents impacting hosts or environment.
:Investigate and troubleshoot security incident root causes when escalated.

The incumbant should have:
:Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH) are a strong asset
:Minimum of 5 years leadership / management experience
:Minimum of 10 years experience in cyber security (CIRT or SOC) and general IT operations.
:Work location in Vaughan, ON with occasional travel to client sites across Canada.
