Position: Project Manager, Continuous Improvement : Canada
Status: Salaried
Reports to: Manager, Continuous Improvement
Location: Toronto FSC

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Continuous Improvement, the Project Manager will work cross functionally to support a variety of strategic projects, as well will work on the improvement of cost, quality and client service in Sephora Stores.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Management
:Manage projects within the Project Management Life Cycle. (Initiation to Closure)
:Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
:Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. Report and escalate to management as needed.
:Development of project plans to track progress.
:Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
:Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Store Pilots
:Oversee pilot optimization with expertise in test and design strategy that will: gather new pilot ideas, advise business partners on testing guidelines, assess store feedback and analyze and assess business data.
:Provide recommendations based on results for next steps

Continuous Improvement
:Drives Continuous Improvement to Store Processes, to improve costs, quality, and client service.
:Liaisons with the US New Store Opening Team on all new stores, expansions, and remodels.
:Work with cross:functional business partners to streamline store processes and eliminate inefficiencies and assist in developing, delivering and implementing retail initiatives and support tools Responsible for the sustainability of Backstage Standards through the OPEX Program

Qualifications
:Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
:Comfortable with presenting to Executive Leadership.
:Strong business and technical skills in retail operations.
:Sets expectations, tracks and communicates results. Creates an environment for accountability for results and actions.
:Excellent listener. Empathetic and compassionate to individuals concerns and directs necessary follow:up actions.
:Effective in small and large group sessions.
:Conveys information in understandable terms at all levels of the organization and through proper channels.
:Strong ability to learn.
:Proficient with MS Office with focus on Excel, Word and Power point
:Proven ability to positively influence people to gain support

Requirements
:Project Management experience required.
:Green Belt Certification preffered.
:Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
:Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners at all levels.
:Ability to work extremely well across functions, successfully bringing people together toward common goals and to consensus.
:Ability to multi:task, managing multiple projects, people, and initiatives.
:Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
:Ability to adjust to seasonal demands of retail environment.
:Ability to travel up to 40 to stores and conferences.
