As part of Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array FPGA technology. The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first re programmable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for engineers to join our teams.

We are looking for software engineers to join Intel's High-Level Design group for FPGA's. Here, the successful candidate will be responsible for writing Compiler Optimizations for Intel's FPGA SDK for OpenCL, which enables software programmers to use OpenCL to program FPGAs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible to develop Libraries and benchmark Intel's FPGA SDK for OpenCL against competitive tool flows and ensure that the tool can deliver high quality designs for the FPGA.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
 
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- At the bachelor level candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship
- Minimum of 3 months experience
• C and C++
• Test infrastructure and scripting environments such as Perl and Python
• Developing software in Linux, Windows Verilog and VHDL

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with debugging tools such as MSDev Studio and GDB
- Experience with Machine Learning
