Customer Master Data Management (MDM) is a development area within Information Technology and Solutions (IT and S) which supports the domestic bank by providing information about customers and their relationships to both products and services. We support functional areas such as Digital Channels, Online Banking, Customer Insights and Analytics, Marketing, Anti:Money Laundering (AML) and Enterprise Data.
Our Agile teams are involved in a large number of projects and support a variety of technologies and over 60+ lines of businesses and supporting areas. Ultimately providing and enabling secure, seamless access to Financial Services and the best Customer Experience to our Digital Customers, across our various Customer contact channels.
Responsible to manage projects from small to large scale across different Customer Systems and applications including Host, Mid:tier, MDM, and Cloud Technologies
Effective in process improvement, provides the department with overall project management leadership by continually improving processes to generate greater efficiencies across the department.
Work with the teams leadership stakeholders such as operations, audit, architecture office to:
:Interpret and/or negotiate business requirements
:Develop designs and documentation
:Document and/or explain current system behaviour
:Develop requirements and/or specifications for development initiated projects
:Presents and articulates project plans, timelines, status and roadmaps
:Lead a development team ensuring that they adhere to the departments strategy, project deliverables and set targets
:Ability to concurrently manage deliverables for multiple complex initiatives from concept to post implementation
:Maintain testing and production logs, work with business clients, systems Maintenance and QAT to determine showstoppers, prioritize issues and ensures project delivery date is not impacted
:Schedule brainstorming and JAD sessions as required
:Work with project sponsor to help them understand hidden costs, infrastructure needs, and constraints in order to establish the scope of the project and define and deliver complex features
:3+ years of team management experience
:5+ years experience in software engineering having worked with large complex systems
:3+ years of hands on project management experience, driving technology projects (software development and application infrastructure).
:Experience working with Customer Information for a large enterprise
:Good knowledge of retail banking products and services
:IBM Master Data Management experience
:Cloud Technology and Public Cloud Application Enablement experience
:Exposure to both and Agile development frameworks and supporting tools (ex: JIRA)

:Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer science or related field
:Certified in agile methodologies is an asset
